Frightening! The Mystery of the Machine Emperor! (驚愕! 機械皇帝の謎) is the seventh episode of B't X.
Synopsis[]
Teppei Takamiya and X get to know Gaku, the little boy they saved from Captain Hook and his B't Groupie. As the two leave Gaku behind to continue their mission, Captain Hook emerges and shoots his Iron Rod at Teppei and X causing them to crash. As X recovers, Gaku tries to fight using the remains of his robot Big Rock but is chased by Groupie who is still alive beneath the sand.
Teppei breaks free and electrocutes Captain Hook
Because punches are futile against Groupie's slimy skin as they previously found out, Teppei devices a plan to chop through the B't's body by changing the position of his hand. After Groupie is successfully destroyed, Captain Hook immobilizes Teppei and X with his Hanging Rod and starts electrocuting them at full power. As X's Guard System has not yet fully recovered, Teppei and X start to give in. Luckily, Groupie's slime left on Teppei's Messiah Fist allows him to break free of the Hanging Rod and successfully send back the electricity to the enemy.
After Captain Hook is defeated, X tells Teppei that Gaku needs water as he has become sick due to the acid fumes emitted by Groupie's remains. Before he loses consciousness, Gaku tells them that there is an oasis near the next point so they head off immediately.
Elsewhere, Kōtarō Takamiya is dumbfounded when upon entering the Emperor's room, he finds a little boy sitting beside a sleeping little girl.
